Gas/Oil Central Heating Systems with Certificates

We install good oil-fired or gas-fired central heating with the same controls for both that you would expect on a modern system.

In particular they will have:

a room thermostat, ideally located in a living room, not the hallway
thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) on all but one of the radiators
an electronic 7 day timer with separately programmable hot water and room heating
a cylinder thermostat on the hot water tank
the boiler and thermostats wired in an interlock to prevent short-cycling when there is no demand for either hot water or room heating

Solar Heated Hot Water Systems

Solar energy is a clean and abundant energy resource that can be used to supplement many of your energy needs.

A solar water heater reduces the amount of fuel you need to heat water because it captures the sun's renewable energy. Many solar water heaters use a small solar electric (photovoltaic) module to power the pump needed to circulate the heat transfer fluid through the collectors. The use of such module allows the solar water heater to operate even during a powercut.

Gas/Elecrical Water Heaters

We can offer both gas or electric water heaters which come in various sizes depending on your requirements. The advantage of these is that you have unlimited hot water.
